Photo taken from Frederic H. Sawyer’s book-” Inhabitants of the Philippines”. Notice the discrepancy on the height of this men. While the officer named Lt.Prudencio Garcia is obvious with his size and bulk, one sees the dwarfish figure of the other men. This led Sawyer to comment; “The illustration shows a party of Visayas militia belonging to the town of Baganga, in Caraga, under a native officer of gigantic stature, Lieutenant Don Prudencio Garcia.”
